Current Status
The Scientific Advisory Board is currently in formation. TELOGENIS.org is reviewing applications from qualified scientists with expertise in geroscience, molecular biology, clinical geriatrics, biostatistics, and related fields. Board member profiles will be published here upon appointment. All appointments will include verified credentials, institutional affiliations, and conflict-of-interest disclosures.
Planned Board Structure
Once fully constituted, the Scientific Advisory Board will include specialists in the following areas:
- Telomere Biology & Molecular Aging — Expertise in telomere maintenance mechanisms, shelterin complex biology, and telomerase regulation
- Clinical Geriatrics — Board-certified geriatrician with research experience in frailty biomarkers and biological aging metrics
- Molecular & Cellular Biology — Expertise in DNA repair, mitochondrial dynamics, and cellular quality control pathways
- Biostatistics & Epidemiology — Specialist in causal inference, meta-analysis methodology, and evaluation of observational aging studies
- Epigenetics & Systems Biology — Expertise in DNA methylation aging clocks, multi-omics integration, and population cohort analysis
- Public Health & Nutrition — Expertise in nutritional epidemiology, lifestyle intervention trials, and population-level aging biomarker surveillance
Review Responsibilities
Each board member will be assigned articles based on their domain expertise. Reviewers will be responsible for:
- Fact-checking all technical claims against primary literature
- Ensuring appropriate balance between positive findings and limitations
- Verifying regulatory compliance (no disease treatment or prevention claims)
- Confirming accurate citation and representation of study findings
- Approving or requesting revision of content before publication
Conflict of Interest Policy
All advisory board members will complete annual conflict of interest disclosures. Members with financial ties to companies developing aging interventions will be recused from reviewing content related to those specific interventions. A summary of disclosures will be published alongside each board member's profile.
Apply to the Advisory Board
Qualified scientists interested in serving on the TELOGENIS.org Scientific Advisory Board should submit a CV, brief statement of expertise, and two representative publications to research@telogenis.org.
Compensation will be provided at standard academic consulting rates. Editorial independence is guaranteed—no commercial entity influences review decisions.
